The long and winding path towards 0.15

Hello everyone!

I'm very sorry for the long delay on the next update. While working on a mechanic for what was supposed to be 0.15 I accidentally kind of constructed a framework that I realized I could use to really spruce up the way the game works and looks. And so I made the decision to go ahead and somewhat, kind of, remake the game a little!

I'll be honest in that originally I did think this would be a lot less work than it is turning out to be, but I really do think it'll be worth it! I've attached some screenshots of what the game will look like once I actually finish. As you can see it's a lot more like a traditional VN, with an image always front and centre. There are also some quality of life changes with how you gather resources. There's no more randomized search. You can look for the specific resource you want, and gather it in bulk. There are a lot more QoL changes that I haven't demonstrated here as well!

It's going to be a little while longer before I've got it all working and playable up to the point where things are currently at, and I'm once again sorry for that! I hope that once I do get this out to you all that you like the changes!

Finally, to address the elephant in the room regarding the whole thing with the payment processes and games being delisted or taken down: I do not know if my game will survive here. Payments have been turned off for a while now and so I am hopeful that keeps me safe, but if it doesn't... well, I'll go looking for an alternative place to upload the game and put out a post letting people that follow me at least know what's going on.
